Then and Now: Underwater Exploration
Hello Oceanographers,
Just off the coast of Plantation Key, Florida; you will discover the Aquarius Reef Base. It is the world’s only undersea research laboratory! The Aquarius Scientists are dedicated to studying and the preserving the marine ecosystems. You can explore inside and outside of the undersea laboratory through Aquarius Interactive.
After exploring the undersea research laboratory, visit our Then and Now Handout to read more about the history of underwater exploration. Technology in this area has really expanded over the years! Keep exploring!
Sincerely,
The Ocean Adventure Team
