We had so many things to celebrate last week! From new Mosaic Artwork being unveiled to being recognized by our district for our Purple Star School achievement. We were also able to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our volunteers for your incredible support and dedication at our "Nacho Average Volunteer" celebration. Check out all the photos below!
Last Thursday was also the Showcase of Learning which was a huge success! Your presence and support mean the world to our students and staff. It is always a joy to see our community come together to celebrate the effort and achievements of our students. We hope you enjoyed seeing their amazing work and projects, as much as we enjoyed sharing them with you.
This past week FAST Reading student score reports were emailed to families via Digital Document Delivery. The link below is a conversion chart that shows Lexile level to Fountas and Pinnell which may be helpful in understanding your child's reading level.

The online application for PrimeTime is now available! PrimeTime is a collaboration among San Diego Unified School District Extended Learning Opportunities staff and PrimeTime Partner organizations to provide before and after school care on school sites. Details about eligibility, priority criteria, and timelines can be found at the link below.

Jones Elementary PTA
Our Parent Teacher Association works with Jones Elementary to provide programs and support to benefit the students, their families, teachers, school administration and the community. Run entirely by volunteers, the PTA raises money to support enrichment programs, program instructors, educational assemblies and field trips, family events, and special classroom supplies.
