Edwardsburg Rocket Cheer

What an amazing year! Thank you to every cheerleader, parent, and volunteer for being part of the Edwardsburg Rocket Cheer family. Our 72 cheerleaders across 4 teams worked hard all season and truly shined!

We also appreciate everyone’s patience and support as our mostly new Board settled into their roles. While there were a few bumps along the way, we hope you enjoyed the season — and we’re excited to make next year even better!

Edwardsburg Rocket Cheer is proudly 100% volunteer-run — every coach, team mom, and board member gives their time purely out of love for our program. This season, we were blessed with an incredible group of women who stepped up and made 2025 truly special. We were supported by 4 Coaches, 12 Team Moms, and 4 Board Members, all working behind the scenes to keep our cheerleaders shining.

Next time you see one of these amazing ladies, be sure to say THANK YOU for all they do!

This year we introduced a new tradition to celebrate our amazing 5th graders. At their final games, each cheerleader was honored with a custom sash and flowers, and during our awards ceremony they received special recognition along with a goodie bag. We also featured each of them in a special 5th Grader Spotlight on Facebook—be sure to check out their posts!

We are so proud of this group and wish them all the best in their future cheer journeys. Congratulations to: Chloe MacNeal, Harper Neilsen, Leia Mow, Lyla Blackmon, Paisley Brown, Aubrielle Bloss, Emmaline Weirich, Niyah Burt, Carley Brasfield, Leah Bentley, and Stella Carberry.

This year we brought you a fun, new, exciting fundraiser! Selling great smelling AirBead air fresheners in a wide variety of colors.

This year we had 47 cheerleaders participate, selling 1,187 AirBeads! Bringing in more than $3,000!

We had one cheerleader that went above and beyond, selling an incredible 53 AirBeads—more than double our goal of 20.

🤩 Amazing job, Niyah Burt! 🤩

A huge thank-you to Linny Evans for capturing the special moments from our celebration! Here are just a few highlights from the evening. To view the full photo album, be sure to check the Band app!

Our newest fundraiser is one everyone can participate in! What household doesn’t need batteries, especially during the holiday season? Online sales will be open on our website for three weeks, so you can have batteries in hand before Christmas.

Cheerleaders who participate can earn a special incentive—a little extra fun for helping out!

Over the past few years, we’ve noticed a lack of consistent accountability with uniform returns, and as a result, many of our new uniforms, jackets, and poms are still missing. If you discover that you still have any of these items, please know there is absolutely no judgment—we understand how busy life gets and that things can easily be overlooked.

We simply ask that any remaining uniforms, jackets, or poms (as pictured below) be returned. You can contact us to arrange a pickup, or you may drop them off at Cass County Public Library - Edwardsburg Branch, and we’ll take care of the rest. Thank you for helping us keep our program running strong!

Has your cheerleader outgrown some of their cheer gear, or do you have items they no longer use? We’re happily accepting donations of any cheer items! Your contributions can help another cheerleader who may need them. Want to donate? Just email us, and we’ll happily arrange a pickup!
