Dear Mason Ridge Families,

I hope your summer has been full of fun, rest, and special memories together. Things have stayed busy here at school! Camp Funtastic is in full swing, and it will end on July 18th. Over in the Ramsey Center, we’re in the middle of a construction project as new support beams are being installed. However, due to a delay in the steel delivery, the project is expected to extend beyond the first day of school. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more.

This message serves as our mid-summer newsletter, regular weekly newsletters will resume Sunday, August 3rd at 5:30 PM. For our new families, this is the time our newsletter is sent each week during the school year. It’s the best way to stay in the loop with all things Mason Ridge!

Looking ahead, late July and early August will bring several important school events. Please be sure to check our school calendar for information about:

Behind the scenes, our amazing PTO leadership team is already hard at work planning a wonderful year of events, programs, and community-building activities. We hope you’ll join in and take advantage of all they have in store!

Flat Maverick is hoping to have a busy and fun month of July! Send us photos of you and Flat Mav on your summer adventures. You can send us photos of fun activities at home, around town, or on vacation! Send your photos to Mrs. Ke at eke@parkwayschools.net.

All Mason Ridge volunteers must complete a background check and online training in order to attend field trips or volunteer for school activities. If you have already been an approved volunteer, you will need to complete the online training portion annually. If you have not started the volunteer application process, please consider applying over the summer so you are all ready to go for the first day of school and ready for volunteer opportunities. This is the link for the volunteer application.

Students who may be eligible for free/reduced meals may apply for school year 25-26 starting July 1, 2025. Paper applications will be available through the Parkway Welcome Center office or the Mason Ridge office. You can also follow this link to learn more about applying for free and reduced lunch.
