Individualized Student Pathway Plans

CSUSM Innovation Hub: Small Business Academy CSUSM Innovation Hub: Small Business Academy

This summer, a group of our students participated in the CSUSM Innovation Hub Small Business Academy. This weeklong summer experience guides students through the steps of launching a small business. They gain firsthand knowledge of what it takes to turn an idea into a reality through interactive workshops, hands-on challenges, and insights from industry experts. This program is designed to give students a taste of the entrepreneurial process and prepare them for future business endeavors, all in a fun and supportive environment!

After this experience, we launched our first "BHS Biz Battle" where our students had the chance to compete by pitching their business ideas to our own BHS judges. Everyone demonstrated innovation, creativity and empathy in their business plans and we could not be more proud of the amazing work put into these projects! Please join me in congratulating our students!!
