Dear Fabulous Nova Classical Families,

Welcome to Quarter 3 of the 2022-23 school year! You should have received your child's report card in the mail last week. Please let us know if you did not receive it. Please feel free to contact your child's teacher if you have any questions or concerns about grades.

This newsletter contains important information about tomorrow's Family Game Night, celebrations of Nova's scholars, and more!

We hope to see you at our next Virtue Assembly on Wednesday, March 1, at 9:15am. The 1st graders will be presenting on the virtue of Temperance. This will also be a spirit wear day. Scholars are always invited to wear spirit wear tops with uniform bottoms on our assembly/spirit wear days.

As always, please let us know if you have any questions.

Warm Regards,

Ms. Tousignant

Safety Patrol at Nova!

You may see some Nova scholars in neon vests outside at morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up very soon. Ms. Cranberg and Ms. Tousignant started a AAA School Safety Patrol, which will be kicking off shortly. These 5th and 6th grade students will be helping with carpool lane greetings and good-byes, assisting with crosswalks, helping at the bus lane, and serving as bus buddies for our Kindergarten scholars. We are so excited to give them this opportunity and allow them to volunteer their time in a leadership role! Please give them a warm welcome when you see them outside helping out!

Winter Gear Required!

Students need to have winter gear every day. This includes a coat, hat, and gloves, as well as snow pants and boots. Students will go outside to recess every day unless it is 0 degrees air temp or -5 degrees with the windchill. It is important that they are bundled up and are able to stay warm at recess!

Please CLEARLY LABEL all items - all snow gear tends to look alike so this helps get lost items back to their owners! Label items using a black permanent or Sharpie marker or personalized, purchased labels (www.namebubbles.com or to support the Nova PTO fundraiser through Mabel’s Labels, go to www.mabelslabels.com, and enter NOVA CLASSICAL ACADEMY PTO (ST. PAUL).
