The College and Career Pathways team at The New York Public Library is excited to share that the Intensive College & Career Network (ICCAN) application for high school students will open later this month!
ICCAN is an enrollment-based program for 10th-12th grade high school students in NYC. Participants commit to attending a series of workshops throughout the school year and work with Young Adult staff at NYPL branches to prepare a college/career readiness portfolio. If they complete the program requirements they receive a Magic Grant of up to $1500 to support their postsecondary goals.
If you have any students who want to learn more about ICCAN and how to apply, encourage them to attend a virtual information session on either Tuesday, June 2 or Tuesday, July 7 from 5–6PM. Interested teens and/or parents and guardians can sign up to attend on Eventbrite!
I have attached the flyers for the information sessions and the program below. I will reach out once our application for the program opens later this month. If you have any questions, reach out to ccp@nypl.org.
Warmly,
The CCP Team at NYPL
