Securly Aware & Home

Dear parents/guardians,

Your student’s school device is protected by Securly, helping keep them safe when they go online. In addition to filtering harmful content, Securly's AI analyzes students’ online activity—such as searches, websites visited, or emails sent and received—to help identify potential signs of self-harm, harm to others, or cyberbullying, and alerts the district to behavior that may be cause for concern during school hours (7am-4pm). Outside of school hours, we are offering the Home App so that parents are alerted of signs of crisis and can monitor internet activities at home.

And with the Securly Home app (included with your district’s Securly partnership),

parents can safeguard their child’s online activity when devices come home, thanks

to features like:

• Pausing internet access at home
• Live activity feed outside of school hours
• Scheduling device-free family time at home
• Notifications for flagged activities
