ELA (Mrs.Bouchard and Mrs.Pelletier)

In English classes, we’ve been learning about the Greek gods through our class novel, Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. The students completed a writing challenge where they wrote a scene where they described what one of the gods/goddesses would look like in modern times. The students voted for their top three in every class. Then, we had a finalist round where they voted for the top three overall. Our winners were as follows.

Nike (Goddess of Victory) Winners:

  • First Place: Nora LeBlanc

  • Second Place: Mia Chan

Engineering (Mr.Long)

In Engineering class we tapped maple trees last week. While we work on this project we'll be learning about historical, ecological, and economic matters related to maple sap harvesting. And we also collect data on the amount of sap we harvest and compare it to our data from last year. It's always fun to get the kids outside using power tools!

Spring Conferences Spring Conferences

BMS will be holding Spring Conferences on April 8th from 1:15-6:30. While we welcome all families who would like to meet, we typically use these conferences to address concerns and to set up a plan to help finish the year strong.

The team will be reaching out in the next couple weeks to schedule with families that we would like to see. If you have concerns and would like to meet but don’t hear from us, please reach out to your child’s Tiger Time teacher and we will schedule a meeting.
