The J-List
May 15, 2026
Hi JES Families,
As we head into the last week of the school year, our hearts are so full! It’s going to be a fun, busy, emotional, and incredibly special week for so many of our families. We have a Wonder watch party for our 4th graders, Kindergarten Graduation, 4th Grade Graduation, the 4th Grade Clap-Out, popsicle parties, yearbook signing, and so many sweet end-of-year celebrations still ahead. The last week of school is just special. Soak it up! This is the last week your child will be in this grade level… don't blink!
Field Day was a huge success today! Thank you to our incredible volunteers for the countless hours spent setting up, taking down, organizing, serving, and making these events so memorable for our students and staff. We are so grateful for the way you love and support JES. And another BIG shout out to Coach Wilson, Coach Higginbotham, and Coach Holzkamper for planning such an amazing Field Day! We could not have asked for more beautiful weather, and I hope your kids came home tired, happy, and full of great memories.
Have a great weekend, Dragons. Let's finish this school year strong!

Last Call for T-Shirts!
As you may recall, a 1st grader has a summer project of sewing cloth diapers for infants in Haiti using cotton t-shirts. To date, she's collected around 150 t-shirts! This is incredible! The last day for donations will be Wednesday, May 20th.

JES PTO End of Year Survey
This survey is intended for ALL JES Dragons - not just those in the PTO. We would love your feedback on the 2025-26 School Year. This anonymous survey gives our JES Dragon Community a way to share ideas, feedback and overall needs to help shape the 2026-2027 School Year.
We held multiple events throughout the year and want to hear from you on what you liked, disliked, and where we can improve. Thank you so much for your time!
