Summer Band Camp (Percussion, Winds, and Color Guard)
Wind and Percussion students, please bring the following
- Instrument
- Sticks, mallets, reeds, accessories
- Music
- Pencil
- Athletic apparel (plain white t-shirt, athletics shorts and shoes )
- Water jug filled
- Ear plugs for percussion
- Yoga Mat
- Sun Screen
- Hat
- Lunch and snacks
Color Guard students, please bring the following
- Water
- Sunscreen
- Sunglasses
- Hat/visor
- Wear black athletic clothing appropriate for dancing/moving with gym shoes and hair up
- Equipment
Summer Band Rehearsal Schedule
Here is a final list of all rehearsals during summer band after this week. We adjusted two dates due to the teacher in-service schedule - August 10th and 11th. All other dates are the same as what was handed out at the June Parent Meeting.
- July 31 - August 4, Summer Band, 8 am - 4 pm
August 7-9, Summer Band, 5 - 8 pm
August 10th, Summer Band, 8 am - 11 am
August 11th, Summer Band, 8 am - Noon
August 14-15, Summer Band, 5 - 8 pm
August 16, Lupercal (Freshmen orientation, band/color guard performs), no rehearsal
August 17-18, Summer Band, 5 - 8 pm
Physicals
Lone Star 24 HR ER does walk in physicals between 8 am and 6 pm for $5.

Drumline Gigs
Our battery (snares, basses, tenors, cymbals) has been asked to play at the following events. Please add these events to you calendar if you are in the battery. We will meet at Davenport HS for these performances. We will wear our summer uniforms ordered from TMF - black shorts, grey polos, marching shoes, no show black socks, and band ball cap.
July 28 - New Teacher Orientation, 7:15 am Call Time
August 12 - Garden Ridge Market Days Performance, Drumline and SLT, 11 am - Noon
TMF Webstore Reopened
The TMF web store is open again July 19 - 30. Jackets have been added to the store. Only letter jackets and the jacket on the TMF web store are allowed to be worn in the stands at football games once it gets cold. The store will close on July 30 at midnight. These orders will arrive before our first football game on August 25th. Here is a link to the store.

- October 14 - UIL Region Marching Competition, Heroes Stadium, San Antonio
- October 21 - UIL Area Marching Competition, Calallen HS
- November 1 - UIL State Marching Contest, Alamodone
- November 4 - Brandeis Drumline Competition (drumline, drum majors, and soloist only)
