Well hello there, FALL! 🍂

It was a quite a change of pace having our Wildcats walk in Friday morning with sweaters and light jackets and oh my, that wind! We hope all our Wildcats take some time to enjoy the outdoors with this beautiful weather. Red Ribbon Week kicks off on Friday with a visit from VMHS!

Get ready for a district-wide Progress Learning challenge! Elementary schools across Judson ISD will compete to answer the most questions in Progress Learning and Liftoff. This is a fun and meaningful way to boost student engagement, reinforce standards, and build some friendly competition.

Who's Competing? All elementary campuses in Judson ISD.

How Do You Win? Every question counts! Encourage students to answer as many questions as they can in Progress Learning and Liftoff. Questions can be answered through assessments, assignments, Study Plans, remediation, or within Liftoff. The winning school will receive a trophy to celebrate their achievement.

When? Contest runs from October 13th to November 18th. Winners will be celebrated on December 1st.

• Please email(kazapata@judsonisd.org) or call (210-945-5750) and ask to speak with the school counselor, Mrs. Zapata if your child is in need of a winter coat this year. Please let her know by October 15th.
• Below are the Red Ribbon Week Dress Up Days for Red Ribbon Week (Oct. 23-30).
• Students wear ORANGE on October 21st for Unity Day. Have your students check out our ORANGE TREE in the foyer for student ideas to prevent bullying and including others. Courtesy of some of our 5th Grade Student Leaders.

• SAVE THE DATE(10/30): During WOWtober FEST: "Calming My Bubbly Monster!" Create Spooky Lava Lamps with your Family in the Library with Mrs. Zapata & Company.
