Principal Message
Dear STL Families,
As we move through another busy October week, I am reminded of how grateful I am to be part of such a caring and faith-filled school community. At STL, we are continually reminded that the little things we do each day—offering a kind word, including someone who feels left out, lending a helping hand, or taking the time to truly listen—can make a tremendous difference in the lives of others.
As a Catholic community, we are called to live out the teachings of Jesus not only through our prayers and celebrations, but also through the way we treat one another. Every day presents us with opportunities to show compassion, practice patience, offer forgiveness, and recognize the dignity of each person we encounter. These small, intentional acts of kindness help us build a school where every student feels welcomed, valued, and loved.
I continue to be so proud of the enthusiasm our students bring to their learning, the dedication of our staff, and the support our families provide. Whether in the classroom, on the volleyball court, or in the hallways, there are so many wonderful examples of our STL community living out our faith and demonstrating what it means to be people of character.
As we look ahead to another week, I encourage our families to take a moment to talk with your children about how they can be a light for someone else. Sometimes, the smallest gesture can have the greatest impact.
May we continue to be a community that leads with kindness, grows in faith, and reminds one another that we are all created in God's image and called to make a difference.
Wishing all of our STL families a wonderful weekend filled with rest, joy, and time together. Do ask your child about our game of Clue this week. It was a blast to create a buzz in the hallways as we sleuthed out this mystery together.
God bless, and thank you for being such an important part of our STL family!
In faith and gratitude,
Kristie Phelan

CLUE - School House Addition
This week the school partipated in solving a real mystery! Episodes shared over the intercom helped deduce clues as to who, where and with what, was involved in this noodle-stumper! It was determined that Ms.Whyte was the culprit, in the playground, with the shovel and the real mystery was that she was searching for her mother's recipe to make pizza for the entire school! We enjoyed a hot pizza lunch today after a hard week of sleuthing! Thank you to all that particpated!
