SPRING PHSC DUAL ENROLLMENT DEADLINE DECEMBER 1st
The Spring 2026 PHSC DE Registration Worksheet is now available and linked on the district DE webpage.
- New DE students complete an online application at https://apply.phsc.edu/apply/
- The deadline for dual enrollment applications is December 1, 2026. Students who apply after this deadline will not be permitted to enroll in courses until the following semester. New students need to have eligible test scores prior to applying.
- Returning PHSC DE students do not need to complete another application.
PHSC ACADEMIC ADVISOR AT SUNLAKE THIS WEEK!
Our PHSC academic advisor, Mrs. Marcie Pachter will be on campus on Thursday, November 5, to answer your questions and provide information about dual enrollment.
Students interested in DE will have two opportunities to connect with her:
Individual Meetings: Schedule a brief, approximately 10-minute meeting with Mrs. Pachter during the school day to discuss your individual questions and interests.
Lunch Q&A Session: Attend a general question and answer session during your lunch period to learn more about dual enrollment.
You may choose one of these two options based on your needs and availability. This is a great opportunity to learn about dual enrollment, explore your options, and get answers directly from our PHSC academic advisor.
Take advantage of this opportunity! If you have questions or would like more information, please reach out to your school counselor.

THE GREAT LOST & FOUND ROUND-UP
Somewhere on campus, a collection of Stanleys, Owalas, hoodies, backpacks, lunchboxes, and other wandering belongings is patiently waiting to be reunited with its owner!
We have two locations for lost items- A table in the cafeteria by the Girls Restroom and a desk in Guidance.
If your child has misplaced an item recently, there's a good chance it's hanging out in our Lost & Found. Encourage your student to stop by and take a look. Unclaimed items won't stay forever, so don't let your favorite water bottle or hoodie become someone else's mystery treasure. Come claim what's yours before it goes on another adventure!
Wrap Stars Wanted!
Looking to earn volunteer hours while giving back to the community?
Donatello's Italian Restaurant is seeking student volunteers to help with its annual Christmas gift-wrapping community service project!
Join us on November 9 from 2:15 PM to 5:15 PM in the 4 Left Commons to help wrap gifts and spread holiday cheer to families in our community.
Students will receive volunteer service hours for participating.
Bring your holiday spirit, a positive attitude, and a willingness to make a difference. Together, we can help make the season a little brighter for those in need!
CLOSET ESSENTIALS NEEDED: HELP US KEEP STUDENTS CLASSROOM READY
Our school is in need of donations of leggings, shorts, sweatpants, and athletic-style bottoms to assist students who may need a temporary clothing change due to dress code violations or unexpected situations during the school day.
We welcome all sizes, but there is a particularly urgent need for female bottoms in sizes 0–4. If you have freshly laundered, gently used items to donate, please drop them off in the front office. Your generosity helps students stay comfortable, confident, and focused on learning.
Thank you for supporting our school community!

FOOTBALL WINS BIG!
What a way to end a historic season for your Sunlake Seahawks!
Our team traveled all the way to Jacksonville Friday night for our seniors final game and secured a HUGE shut-out.
This brought our team to 5-5 on the season for their first season since 2016 where they did not have a losing record. Thank you, boys, for persevering and committing to making history this year!!
ANOTHER 1ST TEAM ALL CONFERENCE CROSS-COUNTRY ATHLETE
OOPS!
In last week's issue, sweet Ella Pope was inadvertently left out of our celebrations!
CONGRATULATIONS, ELLA!!
PROUD BEYOND THE SCOREBOARD
Our Girls Volleyball Team gave us a season to remember!
Finishing as Conference Champions, District Champions, and Regional Runner-Up, this team demonstrated remarkable talent, determination, and heart every step of the way.
While we know the goal was a trip to States, and that falling just short is disappointing, their accomplishments are nothing short of extraordinary.
They represented our school with pride, passion, and sportsmanship, and they were always a thrill to watch.
To our players and coaches: thank you for an unforgettable season. We are forever proud of you and all that you achieved!
FALL SPORTS WRAPPING UP & WINTER SPORTS STARTING
Our powerful Volleyball team is entering post-season play this week and our Girls Weightlfting team is competing in their first invitational of the season. This is such a great time of year! Come support our athletes as they compete against increased competition and come cheer our winter sports on during their beginning of the season contests.
Post-season games: Ticket prices increase for District, Regional and State playoff games so be prepared to pay a little more as the competition increases. Also, all FHSAA playoff games must have ticket purchases and there no comp passes for military, seniors or district employees. This is true during both home and away games.
Save yourself time and purchase your ticket before you come to the gate. Simply click the picture below to link to GoFan...better yet dowload the app on your phone for quicker access.
Passes are available:
Family Pass- All year, 4 Tickets $125.00 (+$8.25 fee)
Seasonal Student Pass- All sports for the season for 1 student $25.00 (+$3.25 fee)

Shout-Outs Are Here To Stay!
Did a Sunlake employee make your day a little brighter? Go above and beyond to help a student, colleague, or family? Now’s your chance to share the appreciation!
Excellence Shout-Outs are a fun and easy way to recognize Sunlake employees who demonstrate excellence, kindness, teamwork, and dedication. Whether it was a small gesture or a big impact, your words of appreciation help celebrate the amazing people who make Sunlake such a special place to work and learn.
Take a moment to give a shout-out and help us recognize those who make a positive difference every day. After all, a little recognition can go a long way!
Once your shout-out is received it is printed on a certificate exactly as submitted, displayed on a board across from staff mailboxes then given directly to the employee after display.
