We did a pop up mood boost at Village Oaks elementary school to help boost the mood "Confident"
Sweet potato tots with a southwest dipping sauce
Chef Mia explained how important food nutrition is for students explaining what we put in our belly feeds our brain.
Sweet Potatoes
Did you know sweet potatoes contain vitamin A to give you energy. Also vitamin B & Antioxidants help with stress release through serotonin.

Students were offered two types of egg frittata Southwest Frittata or the vegetable frittata.
Veggie Frittata
22% of student that tried this one enjoyed it and would like to see it on the breakfast or lunch menu!
Southwest Frittata
Southwest Frittata won with an overwhelming 63.7% of students preferring this choice!
Overnight oats VS Hot old fashion oatmeal
Students were given the chance to taste between banana, dried cranberry overnight oats and apple pie overnight oats VS hot old fashion oatmeal.
Bloom into Breakfast
62% of students chose the hot oatmeal bar over the overnight oats.
Topping bar
Students loved the fruit choices to top off the oatmeal. This will be on for the first week of March!
4th Annual State of the District
Every year, our hardworking food service staff serve breakfast and lunch to our students—and then turn right around to prepare and serve the incredible Novi community at Dinner!
We are truly blessed and honored to be trusted with such an important responsibility.

Deerfield
Eveanna and Juyun truly are a dynamic duo. They consistently move students through the line with efficiency and genuine warmth, balancing speed with a positive, welcoming presence. That combination is not easy to sustain during high-volume service, and they make it look seamless.
Novi High School
Kimberley truly loves our students and knows so many of them by name—which is impressive in a school our size.
This year, she has stretched herself by learning new positions and stepping in to help Julia at stations when we’re short-staffed. Her growth, flexibility, and team-first attitude make a real difference.
