Week #5 - September 8 - 11
Lunch with Someone Grand
We are excited to invite grandparents, relatives, and special family friends to join their students during our Lunch with Someone Grand week!
To ensure everyone has enough space, each grade level is assigned a specific date and time slot:
Check-In: All visitors must check in at the front office upon arrival to pick up a required visitor armband. Please bring a photo ID and plan to arrive 15 minutes early. If you would like to skip the line, we will have arm bands in the office beginning on September 2nd from 7:15-4:00 PM.

Friday Purple Folders
Your child’s Friday Purple Folder is a little window into their week at school—open it together and enjoy the stories, lessons, and moments inside... It is more than just papers—it’s a chance to share smiles, celebrate progress, and talk about your child’s learning journey.
🎨 Counselor’s Corner: August Character Word – CREATIVITY! 🎨
Our school community has been focusing on CREATIVITY—using your imagination to do something unique and special to you!
We have been encouraging students to use their imaginations to make a positive impact on the world around them. It is important to remember that creativity is about so much more than just being artistic; it is also about problem-solving, thinking differently, and looking at things from a fresh perspective.
Family Weekend Challenge: We want to challenge your family to look for creative inspiration right at home and put your imagination to the test by doing something new or challenging together!
Here are a few fun ideas to try:
📖 Make up a collaborative bedtime story
👩🍳 Test out a brand-new recipe in the kitchen
🎲 Play a favorite board game
☁️ Lay outside, look at the clouds, and share what shapes you see
The options are endless when it comes to creativity! Take a moment this weekend to ask your child how they like to express their creativity. Have a wonderful, inspired weekend! 💡✨
