• TODAY come out and show your bronco support for BV's Field Hockey home games against Davis High School. JV 4pm & V 5:15 pm
• Girls Basketball Open Gym TONIGHT in the Small Gym from 6 - 7:30pm. All skill levels are welcome!
• You still have time to buy a Class Shirt for Friday’s Fall Rally. Purchase one in the finance office for $15 cash/check.
• Students can get into home athletic non-playoff events for free and get a $5 discount on school dances if you purchase a Student Body Card. These cards are only $50 cash/check in the finance office.
• Club paperwork is due Friday to room I-2. Please be sure the paperwork is completed, and it must have a president and staff advisor signature.
• Are you interested in writing articles or interviewing people for the school newspaper? Come join us for the BV Newsroom Interest Meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 8th in Ms. Beck's room A9 at Lunch. See you there!
• Interested in going to college? Maybe UC Santa Barbara? Washington State? Johns Hopkins? So far, 28 college representatives have signed up to meet with students in the library this fall. Check out the College & Career Center to find out who will be visiting our school. Students must sign up in advance with Mrs. Sloan to attend these visits.
• The Historically Black Colleges & Universities Recruitment Fair for 11th & 12th graders is being held at El Camino High School on Thursday, Sept. 17 from 1:30pm - 3:30pm. Bussing and a light lunch will be provided. Permission slips can be picked up in room D1 - Ms. deFer’s classroom. Turn in completed permission slips to room D1 by Friday, September 11th.
• Do you want to go on a trip of a lifetime and Travel to Europe with Ms. Yassu and Mr. Lane in June of 2027! Attend an Informational Meeting on Thursday, September 10 at either 5:30pm or 8pm in room C3.
• Is Machu-Picchu on your bucket list? This is your chance to visit the ancient Inca ruins in Perú. Mrs. Alvarado is planning a trip to Machu-Picchu from June 15, 2027 to June 25, 2027. If you want to get more information. Come see her in Room D3. Make sure to sign up before September 15th to get a student discount!
