Welcome Home, Broncos!
What an incredible first three days of school! Our entire Bronco community is so excited to be home on our beautiful new campus. There have been so many smiles, happy faces, and wonderful moments throughout the school. Students have shared that βIt feels like a dream!β and one student even gave our new campus β11 out of 10, or infinity out of 10!β We could not agree more!
It is truly wonderful to have everyone back on campus. Our teachers have done a fantastic job preparing their classrooms and creating welcoming learning spaces for our students to learn, grow, and thrive. We are also incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support from every department across Vista Unified School District. So many people worked tirelessly behind the scenes to help us prepare for our grand opening, and we are deeply thankful for their partnership and dedication.
We also want to thank our families for your patience as we settle into our new arrival and dismissal routines. Each day, our drop off and pick up procedures have improved tremendously, and we know that as everyone becomes more familiar with the new system, these routines will become even smoother.
Safety is always our top priority. Please follow all signs and the directions of staff members wearing yellow safety vests. Always pull all the way forward to maximize the space in our drop off and pick up lanes.
π Morning Drop Off
All students may be dropped off in the upper parking lot. The lower lot is reserved for staff parking, bus drop off, and students in our Moderate Specialized Program.
β’ Please remain in your vehicle and pull all the way forward along the curb.
β’ Students should exit vehicles from the passenger side along the curb.
β’ Please drive slowly, stay alert, and watch carefully for staff, students, pedestrians, and other vehicles.
β’ The inside lane is for vehicles exiting the lot. Please do not allow students to exit from this lane.
β’ Please use designated crosswalks and pedestrian sidewalks. Do not walk through the middle of the parking lot.
π Afternoon Pick Up
Afternoon pick up for 4th and 5th grade students and students in our Moderate Specialized Program (MSP) will take place in the lower staff parking lot. All other students will be dismissed from the upper lot.
β’ When entering the lot, please remain alert and follow the directions of staff members wearing yellow safety vests.
β’ Staff will direct you to the appropriate location to pick up your student. Please be prepared to provide your student's name and teacher's name to staff.
We know that new routines take time, and we truly appreciate everyone's patience, cooperation, and kindness as we learn our new traffic patterns together. Thank you for helping us keep our students, families, and staff safe!
