Picture Day - Picture days are this week. See the flyer below to check if your child's picture day is September 9th, 10th or 11th!
Penny Wars - Our penny wars end this Friday! Kids are having fun bringing in coins to fill up their own jars while bringing in dollars to bomb the jars of other grades! The winning grade level will get to slime the seniors! To win, you have to have the most money in coins (not the most money).
First Home Football Game - Thursday, September 18 we will have a senior-kindergarten walk on the football field where the youngest and oldest students at the school meet at centerfield and encourage each other with extreme sweetness!
Hozho Family Fun Run - Saturday, September 20 at the Gallup golf course, - 5k (or 2.5K) This is a family event to raise money for the senior class. We will be running at sunset with glow sticks and then have food and music! $35 per participant to enter. We'd love to see many families participate or come support the participants!
After school activities and sports: Thank you for your patience as we set up programs. You can look for sign-ups starting next week! For sports, please reach out to our new athletic director, Chad Meekhof at cmeekhof@hozhoacademy.org.
