Falcon Families,

It has certainly been an interesting week with winter weather and eLearning. Please encourage your student to check their classes and catch up on any missed work. With additional winter weather possible this weekend and even into next week, we appreciate your continued support in encouraging your student to fully participate if we have additional eLearning days.

Thank you to everyone who has already supported our Polar Plunge fundraiser. We are just over $6000! This is an important fundraiser that directly benefits our Unified program, and we are grateful for the generosity of our school community. Please see the information below to learn more about why Polar Plunge is so meaningful to Nation Ford.

We also want to ask for your help with our upcoming Sadie Hawkins Dance. The Athletic Booster Club will host the dance next Saturday. The dress code is casual, and students may wear any attire they choose as long as it follows the school dress code. To help make this a great event for our students, the Booster Club is looking for volunteers to chaperone and donations of supplies. If you are able to help in either way, please click the links below. We truly appreciate your support, and we know it will be a fun and memorable night for our students.

I wanted to get your input on how students are utilizing Flex. Would you take 2 minutes to fill out a brief survey? Please click here. We're not talking about making big changes with this time period, but we can always refine it to make it better.

Polar Plunge Reminder

We are over a week into our Polar Plunge fundraiser and we could really use your support. Right now, we are almost at $5000. We would love to get to $15,000. Half of the funds raised support the Special Olympics, while the other half directly benefits our own Unified Program.

Please watch this if you would like to see the impact of this program firsthand. This is a presentation our students gave to the school board in January 2023. The presentation is about 20 minutes long and powerfully highlights why this work matters so much to our Falcon family. You can find it here.

Any amount you are able to donate will make a difference. Donations can be made using the link shared by your student’s second block teacher, or through our general page, which can be accessed here. Thank you for supporting this incredible cause!
