Happy December, Cardinal Families!
I hope everyone enjoyed the week off for Thanksgiving and had some time to rest, recharge, and spend time with loved ones. We’ve made it to the final month of the semester! Our students have worked hard, and we’re so proud of the progress, perseverance, and positivity we’ve seen throughout the fall.
We’re officially in the home stretch now. The first semester ends on Wednesday, December 17, which means students should be finishing up all of their current classes. Please take time this week to check your student’s progress page in Edgenuity (or Imagine Learning for K–5) and make sure every class is on pace to be completed by the deadline.
You may start to notice that courses for next semester are appearing in Edgenuity—that’s totally normal! However, please do not begin any second semester courses until you’ve completed all of your first semester classes. Finishing strong now ensures a clean slate and a smooth transition when the new semester begins in January.
Looking ahead, we’re thrilled to share that next semester we will be adding in-person learning opportunities for our K–5 students once a month. This time on campus will help our younger Cardinals build connections, reinforce learning, and experience a semi-classroom environment designed just for them. The tentative schedule is:
- Kinder/1st Grade 900-1030 Every 1st Wednesday (starting 1/7)
- 2nd/3rd Grade 900-1030 Every 1st Friday (starting 1/9)
- 4th/5th Grade 900-1030 Every 2nd Friday (starting 1/16)
If your student needs a little extra help wrapping things up:
-
AirTutors is available through Clever for on-demand tutoring support.
-
The Student Success Center remains open Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–2:30 PM for drop-in help, quiet work time, and one-on-one support from our staff.
Let’s make these last few weeks count! Encourage your students to set small daily goals, stay focused, and reach out when they need help. Every assignment turned in, every quiz completed, and
every effort made brings them closer to the finish line.
We’re so thankful for your partnership and continued support this semester. Let’s finish strong, enjoy the holidays, and come back ready to soar into 2026!
With appreciation and holiday cheer,
Annabelle Lee
