Makerspace Update Makerspace Update

Our makerspace is being used! Students have been creating art, working on programming, and making origami, among other things. We have also had classes come and use it to support what they're learning in the classroom.

Thanks to all parents & staff who have donated items for our makerspace! At this time, we are no longer accepting donations. Our parents & staff have been so great to us this year! Stay tuned.

NEW: Students are invited to come use the makerspace during Rock Time! Just have a pass signed by your teacher and plan to stay the entire Rock Time. There are so many possibilities with all the supplies we have! Just come investigate!

Battle of the Books Open Competition Battle of the Books Open Competition

On Saturday, January 21, all 6 of our school's Battle of the Books teams competed at Marshall Middle School against over 40 other teams in the Piedmont Region! Teams have been reading the same 20 books and competed in various rounds that tested knowledge of the books' trivia, quotes, and main ideas. It was a great time! Teams will now prepare for our school battle on April 5. See below for photos! Thanks to all our staff coaches for all their hard work!
