HSSL Weekly Parent Update

Just a reminder if you have not already done so to register for parent teacher conferences using the google form below.

Conferences are held over the phone, once you sign up your child's teachers will call you through the evening conference time.

Have some important parent meetings taking place during parent teacher conferences. Please join us on zoom during the conferences to receive this vital information.

• 5pm - Parent Title 1 Workshop (we will discuss the use of our federal Title 1 funding for the 2025/2026 school year)
• 6pm - Senior Meeting (12th grade students and families will hear important information graduation requirements, senior activities, and senior trip options)
• 7pm - NYC Public Schools Discipline Code Review (We will review with all families behavioral expectations and the NYC school code of conduct for students)

NYC public schools will be closed Tuesday, September 23rd and Wednesday, September 24th in observance of Rosh Hashanah.

Our annual back to school pep really will be next Thursday, September 25th during 8th period in the auditorium. Be ready for fun, games, music and more.

• Early College Night Thursday September 18th 6pm (CLICK HERE TO JOIN ON ZOOM)
• Student Progress Reports will be sent home September 29th
• Marking Period 1 Ends October 10th.
• Report Cards will be distributed October 16th
• No School Monday, October 13th for Indigenous Peoples/ Italian Heritage Day
