Staff Update
Meet our newest additions to the team at the Mennonite Heritage Museum and Mennonite Historical Society!
Sherilyn Isaac Williams (left) joins us with a wealth of experience in organization and bookkeeping. Her meticulous attention to detail will be invaluable as she takes the reins on numerous financial facets of our operations. With Sherilyn at the helm, we're poised to navigate the complexities of budgeting and financial management with confidence and precision.
Donna Klassen Thomas (right) brings her creative flair and design expertise to our team. With a background rooted in design, she's primed to lend her talents to project coordination and communications efforts. From conceptualization to execution, Donna will play a pivotal role in ensuring our projects come to life seamlessly, all while keeping our community engaged and informed.
Together, Sherilyn and Donna embody the dedication and skill set essential to advancing the mission of the Mennonite Heritage Museum and Mennonite Historical Society. We're thrilled to welcome them aboard and look forward to the fresh perspectives and contributions they'll bring to our organization.
Afternoon with Author Shirley H. Showalter
On Tuesday, May 7 at 2 pm, Shirley Showalter spoke about her book The Mindful Grandparent, which she co-authored with Marilyn McEntyre. Her book inspires readers to foster solid relationships with grandchildren in our rapidly-moving culture.
Stop by our bookstore to pick up a copy of either of Showalter's books: The Mindful Grandparent or Blush.
