Dear Mattos Families,
One of the amazing programs at Mattos is the Science Docent Program, which is funded through our PTA. A huge thank you to our PTA for supporting this important work at the only science magnet school in FUSD. Since February, our docent volunteers have been teaching students a variety of concepts in one of our science labs. Check out the photos of some of our students in action. A HUGE thank you to Ankur Garg for coordinating this for our staff and students. We will be looking for volunteers again next year when our program will be year-long, starting in the Fall!
