Your Student’s Future Starts Now – Join Us Sept 17!
We invite you to AP/Dual Credit Info Night on Tuesday, September 17 at 6:30 PM in the Social Justice Room. This is an exciting chance to learn how your student can get a head start on college and career while still in high school.
Here’s what makes this so powerful:
AP and Dual Credit
-
Earn both high school and college credit at the same time
-
Students who complete 15+ hours of dual credit are twice as likely to finish a degree
-
Courses count as honors and save families thousands in tuition
-
Credits transfer to many colleges and start a permanent transcript
Dual Degree Program
-
Students can graduate with a high school diploma and an associate's degree
-
Tuition and fees are covered by the district as long as students stay on track
-
Classes take place at Triton College with full support: tutoring, advising, and a Summer Flight transition program
Career and Technical Education (CTE)
Proviso offers 7 Career Pathways with programs in:
-
Health Sciences and Technology
-
Business, Finance, and Communications
-

Manufacturing and Engineering
-
Arts and Communications
-

Students can explore careers like Nursing, Criminal Justice, Culinary Arts, Cosmetology, Automotive, Engineering, IT, Early Childhood Education, and more. They’ll gain hands-on experience, earn industry credentials, and participate in internships, job shadowing, and work-based learning.
What’s Next
-
Future pathways are already in the works, like Pharmacy Technician and Solar Energy
-
All of this gives your student the tools to be college-ready and career-ready before they even graduate
This night is for every family that wants their student to dream big, save money, and get a real jump on their future. Bring your student, bring your questions, and get ready to be amazed at the opportunities available.

Schoology: A classroom tool where teachers post assignments, resources, and updates about daily learning.
These tools work best when used together. If you have questions or notice something you want to follow up on, please reach out to your student’s teachers. They are here to support your child’s success.
