Eminence R-1 Community Newsletter - December 2025
Celebrating the Season & a Strong First Semester in Eminence R-1
Our students thrive because they are surrounded by a community that believes in them. From attending events to volunteering, offering encouragement, and supporting our staff, your involvement plays a vital role in creating the safe, welcoming, and high-quality educational environment we're all proud of.
This month also marked a special milestone for our district, our 1st Annual District Christmas Party. This new tradition brought our staff together to celebrate the season, reflect on a busy semester, and enjoy time as a school family. It was a fun and meaningful way to recognize the hard work happening across the district each and every day.
As we look toward 2026, I am energized by the progress we've made and the opportunities ahead. Our staff continues to pour their energy into creating safe, joyful, and engaging learning experiences for every student, and I am honored to support that work. Together, with the continued partnership of our community, we will keep building on a strong foundation and moving our district forward.
As we wrap up 2025 and look head to the new year, please know how much I value the partnership we share. Your trust and support strengthen our district and make Eminence a truly special place for children to learn and grow.
I wish each of you a wonderful Christmas season filled with joy, rest, and time with those you love most.
Merry Christmas, and thank you for your continued support of Eminence R-1!

November and December have been full of learning, celebration, and community spirit. Teachers continued important work in curriculum alignment and literacy training, and several staff members completed mental-health certifications to better support students.
Our students and staff honored veterans at the district assembly, enjoyed Deer Season and Thanksgiving traditions, and jumped wholeheartedly into the Christmas season. Highlights include a fantastic Christmas program led by Mrs. Katrina Harper, strong participation in the Eminence Christmas Parade, upcoming classroom celebrations, and the always-popular PTO Christmas Store.
