Adams Middle School - Week Ahead

Hi Eagles parents!

It’s that time of the year when 6th and 7th grade students will choose which electives they are interested in taking next year. At this time, we are asking parents/guardians to review the Course Description Guide with their student and discuss which electives they are interested in taking next year. Below is the schedule when Counselors will be in classrooms for students to rank their electives in order of preference. Due to a variety of factors, not every elective will be offered at Adams next school year, however, we make every effort to place students in their top elective choices. Schedules are not finalized until late August, so this is the first step in the six month scheduling process.

We are asking parents/guardians to review this with their student before Counselors come to classrooms so students are prepared to rank their elective choices.

Current 7th Graders:

Thursday, February 12th through their Math class

Current 6th Graders:

Thursday, March 5th through their Learning Skills/Resource Room class

**The High School Counselors will be coming to Adams on Wednesday, March 4th to discuss course selections with current 8th graders. Course Selection Cards and the Course Description Guide can be found at these links. If you have additional questions, please contact the High School Counselors directly.
