Principal's Message
Thank you, Beckman families, for an excellent start to the school year! The first quarter (45 school days). We are grateful for your continued support, partnership, and commitment to your students’ education. Your involvement and encouragement play a vital role in their success.
As we head into fall break, we wish all of our families a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable break filled with quality time with your loved ones and friends.
Fall break begins Monday, September 28, and runs through Friday, October 9, 2026.
School resumes at our regular times on Monday, October 12, 2026.
Parent Teacher Conferences
Parent-Teacher Conferences will take place during the last week before Fall Break, September 22–25. These conferences are a wonderful opportunity to meet with your child’s teacher, learn more about their progress during the first trimester, and discuss ways we can continue to support their learning and success.

Upcoming Minimum Days
Please mark your calendars! The following dates are minimum days:
- September 22–25: Teacher/Parent Conference Week (If you haven't scheduled a meeting, please do so or reach out to your child's teacher.)
Minimum Day Schedule:
AM & PM TK and Kindergarten: 7:50–11:30 a.m.
1st–3rd Grade: 8:06 a.m.–12:06 p.m.
4th–6th Grade: 8:00 a.m.–12:09 p.m.
SDC Kinders in Mrs. Carpenter's Class: 8:06 a.m.–11:51 a.m.
Please plan to arrive promptly at your student’s dismissal time to help ensure a safe and smooth dismissal for all students and staff. Thank you!
Lodi USD - Bridge Program - FALL INTERSESSION (9/28-10/2)
Registration for Fall Intersession is now open to Lodi USD students currently in Grades TK - 8th! This program runs from September 28th through October 2nd at select Lodi and North Stockton locations. Breakfast, lunch, and a snack is included. Space is limited. Parent Café
We are excited to offer a Parent Café at Beckman Elementary beginning Tuesday, November 10, at 8:30 a.m.-10 a.m. Parent Café is a welcoming opportunity for parents and caregivers to connect, share experiences, build relationships, learn from one another in a supportive environment, and become a better parent. Coffee, juice, water, and pastries will be provided.
The group will meet weekly through February 2, 2027, with 10 sessions (11/10, 11/17, 12/1, 12/8, 12/15, 1/5, 1/12, 1/19, 1/16, and 2/2) in total. We hope you will join us for any or all of the sessions and take advantage of this special opportunity to connect with other Beckman families and strengthen our school community!

Imagine this... Story Writing Contest
The Imagine This... Story Writing Contest is now open, and we're inviting students in grades 3–8 to write and submit original stories—real or imagined—based on accurate information about California agriculture. This one-of-a-kind contest combines agriculture, creativity, and literacy. Each year, one state winner from each grade level is selected, and their story is illustrated by talented high school art students before being published in a beautifully bound book!

Winners Will:
📖 Become a published author
🏛️ Travel to Sacramento to be recognized at the State Capitol (travel expenses covered)
