PARKING LOT REMINDERS
Dear families-
We appreciate your attention to prioritizing safety first in our parking lots during arrival and dismissal. We understand the parking spaces may be limited but would like to thank you for following our BROWNING BEST Behaviors when picking up/dropping off your Bears. :)
SOME SAFETY REMINDERS:
- Please also remember HANDICAP parking spots are reserved for those with those with a HANDICAP sticker or license plate ONLY.
- Please do not walk in-between busses.
- Please wait on sidewalk when busses are pulling in and wait for them to pass. The sooner we can load our busses, the quicker they can get to their bus stops and home to their families.
- Kindness matters for all. Thank you for being kind and patient with our fellow Bear Community.
- BE RESPONSIBLE
- BE RESPECTFUL
- BE SAFE & KIND
DRESS FOR THE WEATHER!
NEHS HOLIDAY PHOTO FUN!
Please see a message below from Ms. Klein and Ms. Monti regarding our NEHS holiday fundraiser:
"Hello Browning Families! NEHS (National Elementary Honor Society) is having a Holiday Photo Fundraiser. All money collected will go towards gifting scholarships to Browning alumni graduating this year or adopting a family for the holidays. This year the cost is a donation. While we suggest $40, please give what you can. Also, be mindful of your timeslot. We'd like to stay on schedule as much as possible. You will need to bring a flashdrive to have the photos uploaded during your session. Thank you and happy holidays!"
CHARACTER STRONG FAMILY LETTERS:
For the month of November, the students in ISM will be focusing on GRATITUDE! Please see the links below for the family communication and newsletter for each grade level. In addition to morning announcements, they will be focusing on a variety of lessons regarding this character trait. Take a look below!
Please see the update from our ISM teacher:
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE
Hello, Browning families! This week in ISM, your students began focusing on a new character trait: GRATITUDE. To start our month of thanks, we are learning about WHY we should be grateful for Veterans and HOW we can show them our appreciation. Your second through fifth grade students are writing letters to A MILLION THANKS, which is a nonprofit organization that provides encouragement and appreciation to American military personnel in the form of handwritten letters. All ISM students (kindergarten through fifth grade) are making links for our “gratitude chain” that will be on display during our Veterans Day assembly next week. Our students are learning that we owe a world of thanks to our Veterans, who are everyday people that answer the call of our nation, who give their time and dedication selflessly, and who deserve recognition. Our students are learning that Veterans are real people in our own community. Ask your student about their weekly challenge, which is how they can “thank a vet”. On behalf of a grateful Browning Elementary, HAPPY VETERAN’S DAY!
