Students start turning in their school-issued devices next week, and we need some extra hands to make the process go smoothly. Consider signing up HERE to help!
2. Final Concerts of the Year!
Our music programs are finishing the year strong with performances next week in the RCMS gym. We can't wait to hear how far they've progressed!

- May 13 @6:30pm - Orchestra Concert
3. PTA Meeting with Executive Function Expert May 13th
Join us on next Wednesday at 7:30 AM in the media center for a special session with executive function expert Sucheta Kamath. Come learn practical strategies parents can use to fight summer brain drain and better support students at school and at home. You don't want to miss this!
Parents that need to bring their RCMS child to school during the meeting can complete this form. Only current RCMS students are eligible to come in early.
4. Library Books due Next Week
All books must be returned to the Media Center no later than Thursday, May 14th!
5. Peace Out Backpacks
Students will not be allowed to bring bookbags to school after Thursday, May 14th. This will help us maintain a smooth and secure end-of-year process.
6. Requesting Cafeteria Balance
If your student has a MySchoolBucks account for the cafeteria, any funds remaining at the end of the year will rollover to next school year. If your student is leaving FCS or you would like your balance refunded, you can use the below form to initiate the request.
7. Celebrating Our 8th Graders
8th grade families- be sure to have these important dates down on your calendar.

- Saturday, May 16: 8th Grade Dance @ 7:00 PM (purchase tickets HERE)

Permission slips need to be returned to the school by May 8th. You can download the permission slips below.
8. RCMS Instrument Donations
The RCMS band and orchestra love donations of used instruments, even if they're in need of repairs. Donations helps us ensure all students have the opportunity to participate in music programs, regardless of their ability to pay rental fees. Instruments can be donated to the front office.
9. Riverwood Marching Band
It's time to register for the Fall 2026 season! All Riverwood music students are eligible to play an instrument in the marching band, and any Riverwood student can join the Color Guard. This is a great way to get involved at the high school! Details for the upcoming season can be found HERE.
If there are any questions about marching band, please direct all questions to karantonisw@fultonschools.org.
10. Summer Sports Camps at Riverwood
Planning ahead for summer break? Riverwood offers camps for basketball, volleyball and just added football. Visit the Riverwood Athletics website for more details.
