We loved seeing all the smiling faces at Kinder Camp and Open House yesterday! We cannot wait to see students tomorrow morning. We have an amazing school year planned and are excited that your child will be a part of it. Welcome to the 2025-2026 School Year!
We encourage everyone to take a look at these tips to help us get off to a smooth start.
1. Label every item with your child's name. This includes bookbags, lunchboxes, water bottles, jackets, hoodies, etc.
2. Write transportation notes in your child's agenda daily. It is extremely difficult for students and teachers to remember where students need to go each day. Parents, please write in their agenda each day if they will ride the bus, be a car rider, or go to After School. This helps prevent your student being in a different location than where you expect them to be each afternoon.
3. The tardy bell rings at 7:50 AM. If you arrive after 7:50, you will need to get out of your car, walk your child inside, and check them in at the office. We cannot have students enter the building once the school day starts without being checked in by a guardian.
Students may be dropped off at the front of the building as early as 7:15 AM. Afternoon Car Riders is from 2:50-3:05 each afternoon. The After-School Program is from 2:50-6:00 PM.
There will be no After School Program on Wednesday, August 6. Students need to be a car rider and picked up by 3:05 or ride the bus home on Wednesday, August 6.
Students must be registered for after school at least one day before students are allowed to participate in after school.
Any medication your child takes during the day must be dropped off at the nurse's office. Do not send medication in your child's bookbag.
Thank you to everyone who enjoyed great books this summer! If your child read 15 books this summer, write them on the bookmark they received at the end of last year or make a list on a sheet of paper and turn it in to their new teacher. These students will be invited to a party with Mrs. Bird!
