What is the Summer Math Challenge?

It is important that students keep their math skills sharp so the State of Connecticut is, once again, launching the Commissioner’s Summer Math Challenge for all students in Grades K-12.

Why?

  • Being mathematically literate is important.
  • Mathematically literate individuals are able to make informed decisions about the world around them and have the interest and confidence to meet the needs and challenges of today’s society.

This FREE Math Challenge is designed to help children retain and practice math skills learned during previous school years.
