As most of you know, EICS has retired School Messenger & Safe Arrival in favor of a more robust system. In the meantime here are the steps on how to report your child's absence.

Do you foresee your child being absent for an extended period of time?

Your child whereabouts and safety is our number one priority. It is important to notify both the office & your child’s homeroom teacher of any absence. When reporting an absence please provide:

1. · Student Name (first and last)
2. · Reason for absence (illness, flu or appointments)
3. · Duration of absence

How to report an absence?

If your child is going to be absent, notify the school by:

• - Emailing the school: epk@eics.ab.ca
• - Leaving a voicemail: 780-467-7135

Thank you for your cooperation and patience as we develop our new attendance submission App.
