SHOUT OUTS To our Awesome Volunteers!
THANK YOU to Kelly Schneider and Annie Heger for running our winter spirit wear sale! So appreciate the time and effort you put in to making it successful and offering so many great options!
THANK YOU to Tony Trester for being our traffic team co-chair the past two year! We have appreciated all your dedication and time in keeping our kids safe as they get to and from school. Tony’s last day as co-chair and being a permanent name on the schedule was this past Friday. The parents and students at Patton appreciate you!
We would LOVE to shout out your name in our next newsletter! Can’t wait for YOU to get involved!
Patton PTA Meeting Dates (24-25):
Mark your calendars to attend our PTA meetings this school year. They take place at 7:30 PM in the Patton Commons.
- January 15th
- March 12th
- May 14th
All parents are invited and encouraged to attend - we'd love to see you there! Even if you've never attended before, please consider attending! Your participation and presence makes a difference! Come see all that we do and learn more about where our budget goes, upcoming activities, hear from Mrs. Chin, and more. We promise we won’t make you volunteer for anything unless you want to! After the meeting, join us for a meetup somewhere fun to be social and meet some new people. Hope to see many of your faces there!
Traffic Update
Now that the colder weather has settled in, we know that many of our walkers and bikers will be joining the car line so we just wanted to send a little refresher!
Please be mindful when you park and do not block any of the surrounding neighbors' driveways.
Please pay attention to the “No Parking” signs that are posted on the streets around Patton.
Please do not block any intersections while waiting to enter the carline.
Please note - there is no parking in front of the school on Patton Ave. Please do not wait there to enter the pickup line at the end of the day - you will be asked to move.
For morning drop off, please make sure your children are ready to exit the car when you pull up. All hats, coats, gloves and snow bags should be on and at the ready so your child/ren can quickly exit the car.
Be mindful that once the car line is full overflow does park on Maude. Please respect those waiting and get in line.
There are cones reserving parking spots for our wonderful volunteers. Please do not move them. Once the lot is full please find a parking spot on the surrounding streets and walk up to get your student.
Please use respect and patience with our traffic volunteers. We are short handed at this time and are trying our best to keep the line moving in the afternoon so everyone can get to where they need to be after school.
Just a reminder there is no supervision until 8:50am so please do not drop your child off before then. The traffic team is not responsible for supervising your child.
The Magic Of Science - Sponsored by ABC/25
Come join us at Ivy Hill on January 20, 2025, for The Magic of Science, where chemistry, magnetism, optical illusions, physics, and mathematics will be demonstrated in an energetic performance perfect for children. Everything performed has a scientific principle behind it; however, each of these topics will appear to the audience as a challenging and astonishing magic trick. You might even learn to do a trick at home!
There will be two 45-minute shows. Space is limited, so please only sign up for one time showing. Each child must sign up individually. This event is free for members and $10 for non-members.
