Titan Tidbits Parent Edition!

Good afternoon Titan Families,

Between Red Ribbon Week, regular classroom learning, and the pure joy of our very first House Day, this week was one for the books!

To our amazing parents and guardians: thank you. We know how much effort, energy, and coordination it takes at home to pull off busy school weeks like this. You are your child's first teacher, and your dedication to our school community does not go unnoticed.

We are always here to partner with you and support your student every step of the way. Enjoy a cozy, restful weekend with your families—we’ll see all our shining stars back under the big top on Monday!

Goody Bags: While we love celebrating student’s birthdays, we ask that Goody Bags do not include slap bracelets. These bracelets can be very sharp and can cut students. We do not want any student to be hurt by these. Thank you for your support in keeping all of our Titans safe.

Need to change how your child is getting home for the day?

All temporary, same-day transportation changes must now be submitted through the TCES Transportation Change Request Form.

For example, if your child normally rides the bus but needs to be a car rider due to an appointment, please complete the form. It takes less than 60 seconds and helps ensure the change is communicated to everyone involved in dismissal.

Transportation changes will no longer be accepted by phone or email to your child’s teacher or the front office.

Please submit all same-day changes by 1:30 p.m.

Tega Cay Elementary would like to honor the veterans of our community with a Veterans Day Breakfast held on Friday, November 13th, 2026, at 8:00 AM in the TCES Cafeteria. Please arrive by 7:45. Veterans who have family members that attend TCES are invited to come in and have breakfast with their student. Veterans' spouses are also invited.

Guardians of the Cay are father figures who volunteer on campus to help keep Titan Country safe, encourage our students, and be a positive presence in the hallways, the cafeteria, and at recess.

At the Greatest School on Earth, we know we have the absolute greatest students on earth. Our Titans are doing spectacular things every single day, not just inside our classrooms, but out in the community, too! Whether your child just took home a trophy at their soccer tournament, earned a ribbon in a chess match, hit a personal milestone in martial arts, or showed incredible character volunteering, we want to celebrate them!

We are thrilled to introduce our brand-new Center Ring Achievements initiative! We want to feature your child’s out-of-school accomplishments right where everyone can see them: on our grand Atrium Slideshow.

How to get your child in the spotlight: Whenever your Titan has an accomplishment, big or small, step right up and fill out our quick Google Form HERE!

The form will securely ask you for:

• 👤 Your child's name & teacher

• 🏆 A brief description of their recognition/accomplishment

• 📸 A picture of your smiling star (with their award, if they have one!)

Our students are the real magic of this show, and we cannot wait to watch the Atrium fill up with their brilliant achievements. Thank you for helping us celebrate the finest troupe in the land!
