DAY OF TESTING
Holt's Day of Testing offers our high school students a convenient, school-day opportunity to participate in testing that is beneficial to their post-secondary pathway. For all tests, students must register no later than October 9 in Focus under 'Purchase and Pay'.
Holt is offering the following tests/dates:

If your student has an IEP or 504 and you are requesting accommodations for the ACT, the deadline to complete this Accommodation Release form is August 26.
PreACT
The PreACT gives early experience with ACT test items, provides a predicted ACT test score, and offers information to help students get the the start they need to be college ready. The PreACT may be used for the math requirement of A+ eligibility in place of the Algebra 1 EOC.

ASVAB
The ASVAB is a free assessment that tests academic and skills knowledge and predicts success in a variety of career fields. The test results facilitate career planning, regardless of students' post-secondary plans. A+ PROGRAM
Freshmen & Sophomores
- If you have not already, complete the A+ Participation Agreement to join the A+ program! You can also get this form from the Student Center in room 401.
- Focus on your GPA and Attendance! At graduation students must have an unweighted cumulative GPA of 2.5 and cumulative attendance of 95%. Excused and unexcused absences for non school-related events are included in the A+ attendance percentage. 95% is roughly 8 days missed per year.
- Another A+ requirement is the Math Test Proficiency. This can be first met by an Algebra 1 EOC score of Proficient or Advanced. If you do not earn P or A, the PreACT or ACT Math Test Score can be used. The PreACT is a Day of Testing option for $18. If you have questions about your Algebra 1 EOC, please contact Mrs. Chamberlain.

COLLEGE AND CAREER
Need to request a transcript?
If you have recently applied to college or are currently working on college applications, we have a new system for requesting your transcript to be sent to colleges.
You can follow this link to complete the Parchment Form. All Parchment Requests will go directly to our registrar and she will send your transcript. Please keep in mind that we cannot send transcripts until all the summer grades have been entered and all GPAs and class ranks have been updated.
If you need an unofficial student transcript, please reach out to Mrs. Chamberlain.
Need a letter of recommendation?
Post secondary program admissions and scholarships often need a letter of recommendation. To request a LOR from Mrs. Chamberlain, students need to complete the LOR Request Form below and upload your Brag Sheet in the form. To guarantee a letter of recommendation is completed and submitted by the deadline, please be considerate in asking with two weeks notice.
If you are asking a teacher, alpha counselor, coach, or other trusted adult, please talk to them in person first! You can use this brag sheet for them as well. Two weeks notice is proper etiquette!
