The Hiawatha Buzz!
September 27th, 2024
When we return, we’ll head into the final stretch of the school year, with just seven full weeks left before summer break. It’s always an exciting and busy time, and we’re looking forward to making the most of it together.
Wishing you all a wonderful and well-deserved break!
Warmly,
Kolby Snellenberger
Principal
This week in Unified Arts, Hiawatha students explored holidays and celebrations from around the world. Ask your child(ren) what they learned!
In PE, students learned about Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.
In Music, they explored Easter.
In Art, they learned about Holi.
In Wellness, students learned about Passover.
In Library, students learned about Nowruz.
We love learning about the many cultures and traditions in our community and around the world. Thank you for helping us continue these conversations at home!
This is a friendly reminder that during these early Spring months, please send your students to school with a hat, a pair of gloves or mittens, a coat, a change of clothes & shoes. It can still be chilly outside get pretty wet and muddy out on the playground!
Thank you
