Report Cards/Grades - We are now into the second half of the first semester. At the middle school and high school, report cards aren't posted or distributed each quarter but only at the end of each semester. Please monitor your student's grades through TeacherEase and reach out to teachers if there are any questions or concerns with current grades and class performance.

Tardies/Attendance - Thank you for being diligent in ensuring your students are attending school! Please be sure to call your student in before the school day begins, if they will not be attending. Any medical appointments, dentist visits, etc. should be accompanied by documentation of the visit for attendance tracking purposes. Any student that has been ill 5 or more consecutive days requires a doctor's note for it to be excused. Students missing 10 or more school days must have a doctor's note for any subsequent absence to be excused (with the exception of being sent home by the school nurse). Students below a 90% attendance rate and/or missing 10 or more school days can be referred to truancy. Both excused and unexcused absences are used when determining if a student is chronically absent.

Accumulating 3 or more tardies to school and/or class will lead to a detention, and for every tardy after that until they reach 6. Once a student reaches 6 tardies to school and/or class, they can be assigned an in school suspension. Tardies reset every 9 weeks. Please contact the school with any questions on where your student is at with tardies and attendance.

Incentive Days - Incentive days for the Middle School and High School students that have earned it are planned for November. The Middle School will go to the Lindo Theater on Friday, November 20th and the High School will go on Monday, November 23rd. To be eligible a student must have 90% or better attendance, no more than 1 detention and 0 suspensions, and is academically eligible (no Fs) on the most current grade report. There will be more information to come as we get closer to the dates.
