BMHS Step Team Try-Out Information for 26-27 School Year
The BMHS Step Team is a competitive club that performs a blend of rhythm, dance, and teamwork in its routines. Instead of relying on traditional music, we create complex beats through synchronized movements like stomping, clapping, snapping, and chanting.
Any boy or girl who will be in 9th-12th grade for the 26-27 school year may try out. The BMHS Step Team season is approximately August - March, with summer practices.
You must be able to attend try-outs all 5 days unless prior arrangements have been made.
If interested in becoming part of the BMHS Step Team, please fill out the Try-Out Form or scan the QR code on the flyer. Please submit the form NO LATER than Sunday, May 10th.
Student Spotlights: Check out some of our Titans and their accomplishments!
Congratulations to Senior Shawn Stelter on earning his 300 USBC High School Bowling 300 Ring after rolling a PERFECT 300 this season! That’s how you close it out, Shawn! Nothing but strikes and Titan pride!
Berea-Midpark High School celebrated its Top 20 seniors during a special recognition program honoring academic achievement, student growth, and the educators who helped shape each student’s journey.
Each senior selected an educator who made a meaningful impact on their life, and their remarks were a powerful reminder of what makes our schools so special: relationships, encouragement, high expectations, and people who believe in students.
Congratulations to the BMHS Class of 2026 Top 20 students and the staff members they recognized.

We’re still celebrating this incredible achievement!
Our Polaris Culinary Arts & Restaurant Management students earned 3rd place at the National ProStart Invitational in Baltimore, showcasing their talent, precision, and passion on a national stage. This accomplishment is a true reflection of their hard work and dedication!

News from the Counselors
10th Graders visited Polaris:
On Friday, May 1st, 10th graders who have been accepted to Polaris had the chance to visit their program for an orientation day. Students met their instructors and classmates and learned important information about what to expect next year. Parent orientation meetings are also happening. Please ask your student when the parent orientation is scheduled for their program, or contact Polaris Career Center with any questions!
Course Verification Sheets are being distributed this week:
This week, students in grades 9-11 will receive a course verification sheet. This allows students to review the course selections they have made for the next school year. This is a review of students' "dream schedules" and not a guarantee they will get all of the classes they selected. If there are any errors or changes that need to be made, students should email their school counselor by June 1st, this will be the last day a student can request a change.
