The Buccaneers Bulletin
Week of October 12th
Message from Principal Dufrene...
A big thank you for coming out and supporting our first PCIS Literacy Night…we had over 200 families attend a night full of food and fun!
I hope you had a relaxing weekend. Students I need you to give your best effort each day as we only have 3 full five day work weeks left before Thanksgiving break. Families remember, October 19th is a teacher workday and the 26th is parent-teacher conference day (no school for students on those two days). Please contact your child’s teacher to set up a conference for the 26th.
This Tuesday volleyball and soccer will be at home starting at 5:00 PM…we will also have 8th grade student-athlete recognition night.
On Thursday our golf team will travel to Moyock for the conference match at 2:30 PM.
Buccaneers, let’s have an awesome week by being respectful and giving your best each day!
Expectations of a Buccaneer
Respect is one of the most important ways we show others that they matter. At PCIS, being respectful means using kind words, listening when others are speaking, following directions, taking care of our school, and treating everyone the way we would want to be treated...it cost nothing, but is very valuable. Remember, you never know what someone else may be going through, so choose kindness whenever you can. A smile, a helping hand, or a simple “thank you” can make someone’s day better. Every day, you have the opportunity to make PCIS a place where everyone feels valued, safe, and included...make me proud by being respectful each day. Let’s show respect, make positive choices, and RISE as One!
Respect: School - Self - Others
