Birthday Celebrations!
We love to celebrate your children and the day they were born, but we do have many students with food allergies that are contained in the usual celebratory food options like cupcakes and cookies.
In order to make sure all our students can partake in your child's celebratory day, please consider other ways to celebrate your child's special day with their classmates. Click here for idea options.
For invitations, if you want the teacher to send out the invite it must include everyone in the class. For specific students you would like to invite, parent and student must pass the invites out after school outside the classroom to avoid hurt feelings. Invites should also be given to the teachers on Monday so they have time to put them in Friday folders. Last minute invites may not make it into the folders.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Aurora Public Schools and Advanced Learning Plan Goals
If your child is identified as Gifted and has an Advanced Learning Plan (ALP), ALPs were sent out through our data system called Link It. The Link It system uses email addresses that are recorded in Infinite Campus.
You should receive an email from interventionmanager@linkit.com. The subject should include Aurora Public Schools and Advanced Learning Plan Goals.
Spelling Bee Coming soon!
Students in grades 3-8 are invited to participate in their Classroom Spelling Bee the week of November 9-12.
Top spellers in each grade will be invited to compete in the Schoolwide Spelling Bee on December 10.
The top 3 spellers from Quest will go on to compete in the District Spelling Bee on January 30.
Here are the Classroom Spelling Bee Study Lists.
