ELA- Ms. Kraushaar
This week, we made blogs and prepared to write our first posts by learning about what a good “slice of life” post is: a small story that happened to you with lots and lots of details! To get the ball rolling on our blogging, students will be publishing their first official post on Friday: a book review of a book they’ve read and enjoyed.
Science- Mrs. Tobey
This week, students reflected on their own research (from before break) and gathering information from other projects. The projects were about how our organ systems help our body function properly. Next week, we will be starting a new unit. We will be learning about plant reproduction.
Social Studies- Mr. Cahn
Students began their study of the Middle Ages with a focus on the Feudal System and how manors worked. Probably the highlight of the week for students was getting to design their own manor using Google Drawing.
Next week we’ll get more into Knights, the influence of the Church, and Education during this period.
