Ready for the Fresh Start!

This year has been like no other. We have overcome COVID, Snowmageddon, never-ending rain, dual teaching, ever-changing class numbers, Canvas, and so much more. You stepped up to support students, staff, and families. Together our campus made the best of this crazy year! I am incredibly proud of what we accomplished and I am ready to do the work we need to do for next year.

This next week we are going to be wrapping up EOY LPACs but also having a lot of fun during our FIELD DAYS. I can't wait to see kids engaging with each other in some good old competition but it's always great to see teachers get involved and compete as well (feel free to wear shorts for field day if you'd like to, free dress for kids). I can't wait!

4th Cycle Awards - Tie Dye Theme

The 4th cycle's template is in the awards folder with the schedule of times already assigned, closely matching your intervention schedule. Don't forget to create a link and sent it out to parents. Please include it on the spreadsheet so the front office has a copy for parents when they call.

5th grade - you will need to do the same so that we are able to live stream the event.

Grades lock on Thursday, June 3rd at 11:45 p.m. Assuming there are no corrections and all grades have been entered, we'll run A/B lists on Friday and you'll need to put the names in prior to your awards time.

June 9th at 8:45 a.m.: PK-4 please line the hallways from Mrs. Johnson's room to Mrs. Koteski's room to celebrate the senior alumni that will join us and our 5th graders. 5th graders will enter the cafeteria through the door closest to the serving line for their 5th grade promotion ceremony. The 5th grade ceremony will start at 9am.

Consumables

Please send the consumables home with your students to make room for next year’s, including Social Studies Weekly. We have received textbooks for next year and we ask that you collect and store them before you leave for the summer.
21-22 Panther Staff Information
The beginning of the year is going to be here before we know it! Please take the time to fill out our survey that gets us going and starts our year off right!

EOY LPACs

You will be receiving an email from Jocelyn about EOY LPACs - they will be held next Tuesday or Wednesday during conference times, please be flexible as we are working around Tuesday's ARD schedule. No PLCs due to LPACs. :)

June 8th 1/2 day Staff Development - Campus Needs Assessment

We'll wrap up our CNA planning on June 8th by meeting in the cafeteria right after dismissal to work on strategies for each of our goal areas (math, reading, writing, science, discipline and family engagement). Please be thinking about strategies you want to continue next year as well as areas we need to improve in and want to monitor as we go throughout the school year to show growth in 21-22.

End of Year Checklist
When you click this button it will force you to make a copy. Rename it with your last name and then save it to our Park Crest Drive (20-21 End of Year Checklist). Due June 8th for Paras or by the end of day June 9th for teachers.

End of Year Device Return

Here is a list of all of the technology checked out to our students. At the bottom are tabs by grade level. Unfortunately, it does not pull lists by homerooms so students are organized by last name but I’ve created a column for those of you who want to label them.

PreK-2 – some of your students have a hotspot, chromebook AND an IPAD. Please, please, start getting your face to face students devices back from them and left here at school.

When students bring their hotspots please send them to Sueli so she can mark them off as returned. IPads and Chromebooks need to be returned to the carts and left there. Sueli will be coming around to classrooms to scanning them back in the last week of school.

For students that cannot decide if they want to be remote or face to face (GRRR) I would err on the side of remote and let them keep their devices – at least they are logging in at home for attendance…

All Face to Face students should have devices on campus by June 1st.

An amazing shout out to GRACE for the BEST career day yet (like in all of my 16 years). I heard kids talking in the hallways about the presenters and excited about the next session! Maybe, just maybe virtual is the way to go when you have professionals who can't get away from their offices?!?! GREAT JOB GRACE!!
