Maple Families,
We had a visit from the North Olmsted Library on Monday. Students heard all about the programs they are offering this summer as well as their Reading Challenge. Please be sure to check out their flyers and keep your child reading and learning this summer!
Field Day is on FRIDAY! Here are some things to note:
- First grade should wear RED
- Second grade should wear BLUE
- 3rd grade should wear ORANGE
- All students should wear socks and tennis shoes
- Sunscreen needs to be applied by a parent before students come to school. Staff are not permitted to put sunscreen on a child. Please do not send it to school.
- Students may wear a hat to keep the sun out of their face
- Students should have a water bottle that is clearly labeled with their name.
Thank you to all of the parent volunteers who came to our celebration breakfast! The kids loved thanking you on morning announcements and presenting you with our token of appreciation gift! Thank you for all you have done this year!
Our 2nd and 3rd graders had the chance to visit the Career Cafe this week. Thank you to all of the parents that came in to share about their career! Our students loved it!
The NOHS Seniors did their Farewell Tour on Friday! Our students were ready to help them celebrate their accomplishments!
Our Kid's Hope Mentor had their End-Of-Year Celebration this week! They played games and enjoyed some home-baked cookies. A huge thank you goes out to Mrs. Hoffa and all of the mentors for their time and dedication to this program!
Yearbooks were sent home with students who ordered them on Friday. If you didn't get a chance to order one or if you thought you ordered one and didn't receive it, please reach out to Cavanaugh Photography at 440-973-4390. The cost is $30.19. (They have a limited number available for purchase.)
Our third grade clap out will be on the last day, June 2nd at 1:45. If you are a third grade parent, a separate message went out to you on Friday. Be sure to fill out the form if you will be taking your child with you!
Don't forget that tomorrow is Memorial Day and school is not in session. We have four full days this week and two next week! Still so much more to do!
