Main Road Weekly Update

Weekly News
We had a wonderful week at Main Road filled with learning, reflection, and school spirit!
In celebration of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, students participated in daily trivia shared over the morning announcements. Students brought their answers to lunch, and those selected with correct responses won a prize. This fun activity encouraged engagement while honoring the life and legacy of Dr. King.
We ended the week on a high note with a Main Road Spirit Day! Many staff and students proudly wore our new shirts that say, “In My Main Road Era,” showcasing the strong sense of pride and community that makes our school so special.
For January, the core value that aligns with Main Road School is Empathy. Students will earn Inverso Incentive dollars this month by showing empathy. These dollars will be cashed in weekly during their lunch at the Inverso Emporium.
Please feel free to reach out to the PTO with any fundraising ideas you may have, as well as opportunities to get involved within our school community. Our next PTO Meeting will be Tuesday, February 10th at 7:00 PM. Below you can find a flyer for candy gram sales in the month of February.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. We look forward to another great week ahead!

Parent Pickup Protocol
To make parent pickup as smooth as possible, please send in a note, or call/email the school secretary, Mrs. Bilinski, prior to 2:00 PM that day.
Parents/guardians must communicate directly with the Main Office to ensure pick up goes as planned and we can be prepared for your arrival with your child ready. Dojo messages to teachers are not always relayed in time, so we do advise you communciate directy with the office through various modes of communication.
Dismissal pickup begins at 2:50 so please arrive timely.
Teachers will acccess Classdojo as a mode of daily communication. Email is still preferred method of communication regarding specific instances when the teacher needs to be contacted. Please allow 24 hours for teachers to fully respond, as response time will be delayed during instructional hours.
