Dear Bellerive Families,

I hope you’re enjoying a fun and relaxing summer break with plenty of time to recharge and make memories together. Even though school is still a few weeks away, we’re already busy preparing for another great year at Bellerive!

In this newsletter, you’ll find important information about upcoming back-to-school events, supply lists, and ways to help your child continue reading over the summer. We can’t wait to welcome our students and families back into the building soon! Also, please follow Bellerive on Facebook or Instagram. We will soon be featuring Bellerive’s new staff members.

• School ends at 4:00 pm, and dismissal begins at 3:50 pm.

Want to skip back-to-school shopping this summer? You can order a school supply kit for a limited time with all the supplies your student will need for their upcoming school year.

1. Go to this linked website before July 15 and select your child’s upcoming grade:
2. Each kit includes everything required, with the exception of a few things, like gym shoes. Prices are comparable to Target and cheaper than Amazon
3. Check out using a credit/debit card
4. Consider adding a donation at checkout. Impacks will match the first $5, and all funds will go to supporting our school
5. The supplies will be shipped directly to Bellerive Elementary where you will be able to pick them up during Meet the Teacher

Be sure to purchase your supply kit before the deadline of July 15. If you would prefer to purchase supplies on your own, the school supply list can be found here!

Bellerive Summer Reading Website

Join the fun this summer with our Bellerive Reading challenge! Check out the Summer Reading Website for tons of resources to keep your child from being bored this summer and avoid the "summer slide," (loss of reading comprehension which can impact their reading abilities over time)!

Turn in your recording sheets during the first week of school in August for a fun reward! ALL are welcome to participate. Send any questions to our new librarian, Mrs. Liz Zahnweh (lzahnweh@parkwayschools.net), happy reading!

If you have a child, friend, or neighbor who will be entering Kindergarten or will be new this school year, please remind them to register NOW! Begin the process by clicking here. We need everyone to register ASAP so we know how many students to plan for and have the correct number of staff members hired.
