Dragons' Dish

Dear Allenwood Families,

We have an exciting month ahead filled with engaging activities and important reminders. Please take a moment to review the following updates.

Allenwood will celebrate Read Across America with our staff and students the week of March 3rd through March 7th. Many fun activities have been planned to inspire a love of reading in our students. Stay tuned for more details from your child’s teacher!

Please remember to set your clocks ahead one hour on Sunday, March 9th, as we spring forward into daylight savings time.

All parents/guardians are encouraged to join us for our next PTG meeting on Thursday, March 13th, at 6:30 PM in the cafeteria. This is a great opportunity to stay informed and get involved in our school community. Please make every effort to attend.

Show your school spirit! On Friday, March 14th, students and staff are encouraged to wear their favorite basketball jersey or team shirt. Let’s celebrate together!

Lastly, If you need to make a change to your child’s dismissal plan, please be sure to include both Donna Taub (dtaub@wallpublicschools.org) and Lyndsay Caruso (lcaruso@wallpublicschools.org) in your email to your child’s teacher. Thank you for your continued support in making Allenwood School a wonderful place for learning and growth.

Sincerely,

James Sterenczak
Principal

Thank you Mrs. Cimino and the tireless PTG Board for a year full of enriching and

fun experiences. Please consider being an active member of the Allenwood PTG.

Students from all four elementary schools, WIS, and WHS showcased their dedication and talent at the WTPS Strings Festival!
