Parents & Guardians,
All of our scheduling decisions build directly from our middle school class offerings sheet, which is attached for your reference. Our overall goal is to ensure our students get a well-rounded exploratory experience, giving them a taste of various classes, even ones they might not initially realize they'll enjoy.

If you see something that does not seem right REPORT IT!!
Please remember that if you ever see or experience something that makes you feel unsafe—whether it’s bullying, threats, or other serious concerns—you have ways to report it anonymously and responsibly.
Two powerful tools available to you are:
-
OK2SAY – A confidential way to report anything that threatens your safety or the safety of others.
-
No Bullying Schools – An anonymous reporting system focused on stopping bullying and creating a more respectful school environment.
Using these tools is a safe, responsible way to speak up. You do not need to share your name, and your identity will be protected. If you see something, say something—it helps everyone.
Let’s work together to keep New Buffalo Middle School a safe, respectful, and welcoming place for all.

Standard Response Protocol
A uniform, planned, and practiced response to any incident is the foundation of a safe school. Safe business. Safe community. The SRP is action-based, flexible, and easy to learn. It rationally organizes tactics for response to weather events, fires, accidents, intruders and other threats to personal safety.
The SRP's development is ever-evolving, created with extensive collaboration between experts such as first responders, public safety, school, districts, and communities. Its tactics are data-driven, researched and based on experience and contemporary practices.
