Salem Families—We’re Going Places Together!

🍁 October News & Notes 🍁

From changing leaves to cozy sweaters, autumn is here! There are many great things happening at school!

A big THANK YOU to our families for supporting our PTO fundraiser! Your generosity makes a huge difference. We loved watching the movie together and visiting with so many of you. It was the perfect way to spend a fall evening.

📸 Picture Day – Wednesday, October 1

🍂 Fall Break – Thursday, October 16 through Monday, October 20 (no school)

⭐ Shining Star Week (Red Ribbon Week) – October 27–31. We’ll celebrate with fun activities that highlight school spirit and the importance of being drug-free by focusing on positive self-image and shining as our best selves.

🧭 School Community Council – Tuesday, October 28 at 3:30 p.m. All are welcome!

🎃 Halloween Parade – Friday, October 31 at 9:15 a.m. Students will parade around the block—families are welcome to line the sidewalks and cheer! (See attached map.)

🚗 South Side Pick Up Reminder
Please enter the pick-up lane from the east and travel west. Students should wait until their ride pulls into the loading zone by the Kindergarten Playground before getting into the car. This helps traffic move smoothly and keeps everyone safe.

Here’s to a wonderful October filled with learning, laughter, and making memories!

Sincerely,

Jen Jolley

Principal

Hello Nebo Parents,

We’re excited to announce the launch of our new school lunch program: LINQ Connect! This program will be used by our food service Clerks and Parents (you will no longer use your ICampus account to manage your student lunch account).

With Linq Connect - You will be able to:

  • View lunch menus

  • View student lunch balances

  • Set up auto payments

  • Set up account balance alerts

  • Add money to student lunch accounts

  • Apply for free or reduced-price meals

Please Set Up Your Account Today - What you Need to Know:

You can set up your LINQ Connect account in one of two ways:

  1. Preferred Method: Download the free LINQ Connect app from their device’s app store

  2. Visit LINQConnect.com

Once you set up your free account, you’ll be able to use all available features.

Account Setup – What You Will Need:

To create an account, parents will need:

  1. Student’s First and Last Name

  2. Student ID Number (found by asking their student or logging into their Parent Infinite Campus account)

  3. Student Date of Birth

Once your account is set up, you can click on “Meal Application” to apply for Free or Reduced-Price Meals.

Please see the attachment, which has handy QR codes and will help answer many of your questions.

We're excited about this new program and the convenient app, which we hope will make it much easier for you to manage your student's lunch account.
